Chunhui started as a postdoctoral scientist at the end of 2024 with a focus on ecological responses to climate extremes. Previously, Chunhui's PhD focused on the increasing atmospheric CO2 effect on land-atmosphere exchange of carbon and water. She estimated the physiological effect of CO2 on vegetation functioning using land surface models and in-situ measurements. In addition to science, Chunhui helps with lectures and consultations in the module "Global Earth Systems".
